As Creative Director and Interactive 3D Designer, I led a team of developers and 3D artists to create an interactive 3D web configurator that visualized Coats' automotive materials within a computer-generated vehicle.
We designed a brand-neutral concept roadster to ensure compatibility with Coats’ diverse client base including BMW, VW, and Audi avoiding any conflicts of interest. Users could peel back layers of the vehicle to reveal the exact location and function of each product, with detailed information enhancing their understanding.
To support sales and marketing efforts, I also created a high-end 3D animation for Coats' website and social media channels, helping to visually reinforce their innovation message across platforms.
Additionally, I was tasked with developing an Augmented Reality (AR) version of the experience for use in live events and sales demonstrations. Working closely with our development team, I created an iOS AR app that allowed users to scan a physical hard-foam model car and project the full interactive 3D experience over it. This added a powerful, hands-on dimension to Coats’ presentations.
I also supported the client on-site at major events in Turkey and Vietnam, traveling with my lead developer to install the immersive experiences and present the tools to key stakeholders and automotive clients.
By combining interactive 3D, animation, and AR, Coats elevated their presence in the automotive sector and positioned themselves as a future-ready supplier.
The tools became a core part of their international sales strategy and were instrumental in sparking conversations with top-tier automotive brands.
